With a degree in Marketing from ITESM, Kitzia founded Kgroup Wellbeing Meetings in 2006, a company that provides full PCO services, freeing clients from all organizational, administrative, and operational tasks and including a consulting and marketing area focused on the Meetings Industry. Among its clients, there are government agencies from Mexico, Argentina, and China, as well as associations and companies from different national and international sectors.

Kitzia is widely known within the MICE industry, with over 20 years of experience. She began her career as Promotion Manager of the Leon Exhibition & Convention Center (one of the largest in Mexico). She has been the founder and director of two Convention Bureaus: Leon and Yucatan, Mexico. She has collaborated with several associations and has been part of the Advisory Board of the SITE Mexico Chapter, as president in the 2007-2008 period, and as a member of the Advisory Council on Tourism from 2006 to 2012. Kitzia has organized successful events in Mexico and abroad for prestigious international organizations such as the UN, G20 YES, SNAV, SITE, ASTA, IGF, FCCA, among others.

Kitzia has led important projects for the development of the Meetings Industry in Mexico for associations, as well as for private companies and tourism promotion organizations such as "Your Best Reward is Mexico" Program for SITE, Mexico Chapter, the MICE marketing strategy for the Riviera Maya CVB. Also, she has provided consultancies to associations, convention offices and tourism boards, such as the Beijing Tourism Administration, the Beijing Star Professional Programs, CITS China, among others.

Parallel to her MICE activity, Kitzia is the founder and President of IADWP, the International Association of Destination Wedding Professionals which main goal is to develop a series of marketing resources to access, educate and empower the destination wedding and romance travel. The online and offline experiences offered by the organization are characterized by providing innovative education, inspiration and generating global business in the community, from more than 20 countries, mainly from North America, South America, and Central America. The IADWP is the only 100% multicultural association in the Romance Travel Industry.

Kitzia is a passionate pioneer of the Romance Travel Industry. In 2008 she launched the first edition of Love Mexico in New York and from this day on, she has focused on developing a series of marketing resources to bring the community of destination weddings closer. If she is proud of something, it is to be the perfect matchmaker among all the audiences of the exciting Romance Industry.

She collaborates in several specialized magazines and lectures in Mexico and abroad.
