PRE -CONFERENCE PROGRAM - Santa Marta

 Santa Marta is the oldest city in Colombia.  A must-see destination contrasting stunning beaches with the white-peaked Sierra Nevada(World Heritage Site by UNESCO)  Incomparable natural landscapes and a vibrant pre-Hispanic culture.  Land of the Nobel Prize winner in Literature Gabriel Garcia Marquez.  Visit first-class hotels and beach clubs.  Visit the Mamancana Nature Reserve (600 hectares), located in the foothills of the SierraNevada de Santa Marta. On April 29th, participants will be provided with a private ground transfer from Santa Marta to Cartagena (estimated travel time: 4 hours).
